TSR Solutions Managed IT & security

Data center colocation

Rack your own servers in a Tier III data center with redundant power, cooling and carriers, instead of a closet at the office.

What changes for you

Your servers stay up when the office does not

A Tier III facility with N+1 redundancy and a 99.982% uptime guarantee, not a closet on the office circuit.

Room to run dense hardware

Up to 20 kW per rack with N+1 power redundancy, so storage arrays and virtualization hosts do not trip the limits.

You choose the carriers

A carrier-neutral facility with multiple providers and diverse entry points, so no single fibre cut takes you offline.

Hands on site when you need them

Remote hands cover reboots, swaps and cabling so nobody drives to the data center at 2 a.m.

What's included

  • Rack space by the unit, in full cabinets, or in custom cabinet sizes
  • Standard 42U, high-density or custom cabinets
  • Power from 2 kW to more than 20 kW per rack, with N, N+1 or 2N redundancy
  • Carrier-neutral connectivity: AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, Spectrum, Cogent and others
  • Bandwidth options from 100 Mbps to 100 Gbps
  • Cross-connects to the carriers and partners you choose
  • Optional remote hands support
  • Optional backup services, advanced security and 24×7 monitoring

How it works

From the first call to steady state.

  1. 1

    Scope

You tell us rack units or cabinets, power density, redundancy level, carriers, bandwidth and cross-connects; we confirm the fit.

  2. 2

    Quote

You get a quote for space, power and connectivity plus any add-ons such as remote hands, backup, security or monitoring.

  3. 3

    Move in

We schedule the move to your timeline, from immediate to six months out, and coordinate carriers and cross-connects.

  4. 4

    Run

Your hardware runs on redundant power and cooling; remote hands and monitoring cover it if you chose them.

Questions we get asked

What does Tier III mean for me?

Every power and cooling path has a spare (N+1), so maintenance happens without shutting your equipment down. The facility carries a 99.982% uptime guarantee.

How much power can a rack draw?

Up to 20 kW per rack as standard, with higher densities quoted on request. You choose N, N+1 or 2N power redundancy.

Can I bring my existing internet provider?

Usually, yes. The facility is carrier neutral with AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, Spectrum, Cogent and others on site, and diverse entry points for physical redundancy.

Who touches the hardware?

You can, with access to your cabinet. If you add remote hands, TSR engineers handle reboots, swaps and cabling on your instruction.

Do you manage the servers themselves?

Not by default. Colocation is space, power and connectivity. Monitoring, backup and full management are available as add-ons.
